“My Grandson DNA Needs to be confirmed in two hospitals” – Mohbad’s father

Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has stated that a DNA test on the artiste’s 6-month-old child, Liam, needs to be conducted in two different locations to accurately confirm the child’s paternity.

Mr. Aloba made this statement in a viral video on social media.

Since Mohbad’s passing on September 12, 2023, there have been ongoing debates among concerned Nigerians about the necessity of taking a DNA test on the artiste’s son.

In response to these discussions, Mohbad’s father emphasized the importance of carrying out the DNA test, as it has become a matter of national concern.

He mentioned that although there are speculations that the test has been conducted, he was not consulted about it.

He further stated that he should be present during the DNA test or designate a representative to be there on his behalf.

Also, he recommended that the test should take place in two different locations to ensure the accuracy of the results.

Speaking in his native Yoruba language, he said, “Regarding the DNA test, it’s a must they do it. Nigerians and people worldwide are demanding it. We are hearing rumours that they did it but no matter how they want to do it, I’m Mohbad’s father so I’ll give consent on the DNA test or send anyone who can represent me during the test if I’m not there to know how they’ll do it. And even when they want to do it, it should be done in two different places so we can be very sure of the results.“Also, as a result of where I am from in Ikere Ekiti, even Olu Ikere just left my side now after paying me a visit. We don’t accept bastards where I’m from, but it will be a joy for me if this child is Mohbad’s because this is the only child he said he left for me. Three days before his death, I was with him, he even served me food and put Liam in my hands and he was taking pictures of us.

“So, I will be very happy if Liam is Mohbad’s son because I love the child. But if it turns out that Liam is not his son, it won’t be good if we don’t find out now because of the future so that even late Mohbad shouldn’t be blaming me that I accepted something like this. So the DNA is very necessary.”
