Mohbad Terminates Contract With Marlian Music

Popular Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, best known as Mohbad has officially terminated his contract with Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music.

Mohbad’s management team, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, announced Mohbad’s exit from the record label, Marlian Music.

This is coming weeks after he called out his former boss, Naira Marley over alleged assault.

A document released by Mohbad’s legal team said that his reason for leaving was because of constant attacks orchestrated by Naira Marley.

In addition, it alleged that the music executive failed to pay advances owed to Mohbad since 2019.

TopNaija had reported that Mohbad was hospitalized following an alleged assault by a gang under Naira Marley.

According to Mohbad, Naira Marley sent his boys to deal with him simply because he requested a change of manager.

He stated that his manager is the brother of the Marlian Music founder and that was why he opposed the decision.

The artiste shared some videos which showed the injuries he sustained on different parts of the body as a result of the assault.

The Ko Por Ke hitmaker claimed that while they were beating him, Naira was watching without stopping them.

He said they had to run a CT scan on him at the hospital because of internal injuries.
