Meet Xerona: Donald Duke’s singer and lawyer daughter
In April 2016, former Cross River State governor, Donald Duke made his debut performance on stage at the Runway Jazz Festival in Lagos as part of Nigeria’s contribution to the global celebration of Jazz.
Apparently, music runs in the family.
His eldest daughter, Xerona Duke who turned 26 in May 2016 is also a singer and a talented one at that.
Despite a thriving career as a lawyer – Xerona works at law firm Chadbourne & Parke LLP in New York – she still finds time to make music.
So far, she’s recorded songs like; ‘Free Falling’, ‘Intangible’ and cover versions of songs by Jon Bellion, Jimmy Nevis, and she’s best friends with EME’s, Niyola.
Listen to her song, ‘Free Falling’ here.
