Marcus Rashford's side hustle outside Manchester United

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford certainly has something to fall back on should he decide to end his professional career as a player today, and Marcus Rashford outside the football world, is a totally different character.

Football, no secret is a short-term career no matter how much fame and wealth it gives a footballer, unlike some other jobs around the world. A football career can not eclipse a 20-year span, and that’s for the lucky athlete. Hence, some players tend to have outside investments not dependent on the game, and Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford is not exempted.

Marcus Rashford isn’t just a force on the football pitch—he’s a powerhouse in the business world too. Despite a challenging 2023/24 season, Rashford has made significant strides off the field, establishing a successful side business that has already earned him millions.

At 26, Rashford faced a tough season, missing out on England’s squad for Euro 2024. Former manager Gareth Southgate noted other players had stronger seasons, leaving Rashford out of the 33-man squad.

However, this omission turned into an opportunity for Rashford, who has been available for Manchester United’s entire pre-season schedule, showing up strong in friendlies and gearing up for the Community Shield clash against Manchester City.

Rashford’s impact extends beyond football. Known for his charity work, he successfully campaigned for free school meals for children during Christmas 2020 and established a book club to help underprivileged kids develop reading skills. His contributions earned him an MBE in October 2020, and he’s even learned sign language to connect better with fans.

But it’s Rashford’s business acumen that’s turning heads.

According to the Daily Mirror, he’s built a property empire worth around £15 million. Rashford owns three companies: MUCS Enterprises, MUCS Properties, and MUCS Investments, making him one of the most financially savvy footballers of his generation.

Also outside football, the Englishman is well known for his charitable efforts in caring for less privileged children in the UK, with Marcus Rashford famously campaigning a feeding programme for children around the UK which earned him a royal honor for his efforts.

Rashford currently isn’t the only footballer who is independent of a weekly wage in football, former Barcelona player Martin Braithwaite is considered a millionaire with countless properties across Europe.
