MAPOLY appoints Folasade Madariola as new Bursar

The Governing Council of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has appointed Mrs. Folasade Madariola as the institution’s new Bursar, according to an announcement made on Tuesday by Mr. Yemi Ajibola, the polytechnic’s Head of Public Relations and Protocol.

Madariola becomes the second-ever female and eighth overall Bursar of the institution.

Her appointment, which was confirmed through a letter from the Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Kamaldeen Balogun, will take effect from September 10, for a non-renewable term of five years.

She succeeds Mr. Fatai Yekini, whose tenure ended on September 9. Madariola, who began her career at MAPOLY in 1999 as an Accountant II, has steadily risen through the ranks, most recently serving as Chief Accountant in the Bursary Department since 2017.

A proud alumna of Ogun State Polytechnic (now MAPOLY), Madariola also holds a First Class degree in Accounting from Crescent University. Additionally, she earned her MBA with a specialization in Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

During the presentation of her appointment letter, the Rector of MAPOLY, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, congratulated Madariola on her new role and wished her success in her tenure.
