Man United players reject end-of-season awards

Manchester United have reportedly called off their end-of-season awards upon players’ request.

 

The club’s decade-old award was cancelled because of the players’ disappointment with their performance in the 2021/22 season.

 

According to MUTV, the honorary event intends to pay tribute to the club’s outstanding players at first-team and youth levels.

 

The club is currently sixth on the Premier League table with one match left and 32 points behind leaders Manchester City.
