Liverpool vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Confirmed Lineup

Liverpool versus Tottenham Hotspur was all the hype and rave earlier in the season when both sides faced each other in the first leg over at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London. It was a controversial affair that ended in a 2-1 affair where the Reds literally saw ‘red’ on two occasions.

With the second leg set to be at Anfield, a lot of grudge gets in the way as Spurs come visiting and the Reds look ready for revenge.

Liverpool currently may if not mathematically be out from the title race, will have little to concern themselves about playing cautious heading into this game, and unlike Tottenham Hotspur, they have already secured a place in the Champions League spot heading into next season.

Technically, the Reds have nothing to fight for aside giving their home fans a spectacle of a game to a side they so cruelly lost to 6-months back. For Spurs however, they have their own chase with Aston Villa still as they hope to regain a spot for next season’s Champions League, hence losing this game will be the karma they will despise coming back to haunt them.

That aside, whatever result comes out is dependent on what the team on the turf put to the ‘table’.
