Liverpool vs. Everton: Confirmed XI

The 243rd Merseyside derby falls on Liverpool and Everton at Anfield as both teams look to continue on the premier league season.

With the Merseyside Blues gaining recent momentum following a poor start to the season, Sean Dyche will be hoping to add more woes to their bitter foes’ season.

Liverpool have had some struggle in their last 2 premier league fixtures, the first a highly controversial tie versus Tottenham Hotspur, and the second a 2-2 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion thanks to Liverpool’s own errors.

With the Reds going into the fixture without some key players such as Andrew Robertson who is currently out of the team following a shoulder injury, and Curtis Jones who sits out the game on suspension.

However, as Merseyside derbies go, a couple of these things often play little roles in defining the overall outcome, with Liverpool and Everton ready to go into the tie looking to create problems for the other half of the Merseyside divide.
