Liverpool are relaxed on Alexander-Arnold — Journalist reveals

Liverpool supporters have been gripped with anxiety over the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold, as rumors swirl about a potential move to Real Madrid.

With his contract set to expire at the end of the season and no official renewal on the table, panic has set in—especially after MARCA’s front-page claims that Alexander-Arnold is as good as gone. Throw in Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah being in similar situations, and the idea of a summer exodus feels all too real.

However, Liverpool’s star right-back might not be packing his bags for Spain just yet. Despite reports from Spain suggesting otherwise, respected Liverpool journalist David Lynch has provided a reassuring update.

Speaking on Anfield Agenda’s YouTube channel, Lynch confirmed that talks between Alexander-Arnold and the club are far from over. In fact, both sides are actively working to iron out a deal that benefits everyone involved.

“My understanding is there’s no resignation on Liverpool’s part,” Lynch stated. “He still wants to stay.”

Although the pull of Real Madrid, especially after Dani Carvajal’s injury, may tempt Alexander-Arnold, Lynch believes Liverpool will stop at nothing to keep their homegrown talent. Letting him go could be a huge blow to Liverpool’s image, and the club is expected to pull out all the stops to keep him at Anfield.

With Alexander-Arnold’s recent stellar performances for both England and Liverpool, including a jaw-dropping free-kick for the Three Lions, it seems the 25-year-old still has plenty left to offer his boyhood club.

As Liverpool gears up for a massive Premier League showdown with Chelsea, Alexander-Arnold is set to be a key player in the Reds’ push for the title.

While Real Madrid lurks, ready to make a move, the ball is still very much in Liverpool’s court. For now, the message to fans is clear: Stay calm, and trust the process.
