After loosing the 2017 Ballon D’Or to rival Christiano Ronaldo, and enduring endless trolling from Madrid and Ronaldo fans, Lionel Messi has been vindicated…sorta.

The Barcelona attacker added two more trophies to his collections after he received two awards from Spanish sports newspaper Marca on Monday.

Messi who scored a remarkable 37 goals in 34 league games last season, two more than Barcelona team-mate Luis Suarez, won the Pichichi award at a ceremony which held in Barcelona.
