King Perryy speaks up after colleague accused Timaya of not helping young artistes
Young Afropop singer, King Perryy has spoken up after Benkretz accused Raggae star of not supporting many young artistes.
Benkretz had earlier claimed that Burna Boy and Timaya have a few things to learn from their colleague and superstar rapper, Olamide as he had supported many young artistes.
In response to Benkretz accusation, King Perryy revealed how Dancehall and Reggae star, Timaya turned out to be the sole person responsible for transforming his life.
According to King Perryy, it is disrespectful to put Timaya in the category of top Nigerian singers who have not supported up-and-coming talents.
Taking to social media, Perryy said the Dem Mama Records boss, Timaya has done great things for him that only a father can do for a son.
He also affirmed that the ‘Ukwu’ crooner, though not made so public, is also behind the success of other entertainers in the industry. The singer stressed that if anyone’s name should not have made such a list, then it has to be Timaya.

Benkret had appealed to dancehall stars, Burna Boy and Timaya to emulate their colleague, Olamide, as he has given opportunities to a lot of artistes in the Southwest particularly Lagos and they have become stars who stand independently today.
He took to his social media page to beg both Timaya and Burna Boy for them to consider his request.
Benkretz wrote; ‘‘Olamide has helped a lot of local contents(artists )from the west(lasgidi) rise & stand.
@burnaboygram @timayatimaya please do same in the south (Port Harcourt), We use God beg una. Plenty talents Dey south but Helpers Far from us.”
