Sophia Momodu, the renowned entrepreneur and Davido’s first baby mama, recently found herself bewildered by the ever-evolving world of Gen Alpha slang, thanks to her 9-year-old daughter, Imade.

In a humorous post on her X account, Sophia recounted her experience of trying to keep up with the latest expressions used by her daughter and her friends during a shopping trip.

Sophia Momodu shared how she overheard Imade and her friends giggling about a man they described as “Max” but “mewing” too much—a combination of terms that left the mom completely stumped. In a classic #CoolMomChronicles moment, Sophia admitted she had to sit down and let the kids explain the meaning behind their cryptic comments.

But it wasn’t all confusion; Sophia Momodu was thrilled to discover that according to her daughter, she’s got “the RIZZ” (apparently, she’s been that girl all along) and is considered “Skibidi” (pretty awesome) by the younger generation. With Gen Alpha slang evolving faster than ever, it seems even the coolest moms have to brush up on their lingo to keep up with their kids!
