It’s all about the Money when dating, folks…reality star Yvonne Godswill tells Cool FM.

Every woman has there spec of a man they are looking to go into a relationship with and Yvonne Godswill is no different even though some may find her words divisive.

According to the reality star whose comments ignited a firestorm of debate online, Yvonne Godswill asserts that she would rather be in a relationship with a financial capable man who cheats on her than a financially struggling male who can’t keep up with his needs let alone hers.

Yvonne Godswill made the controversial statement during her appearance on Cool FM’s Big Friday Show with Tach, much to online debate.

Godswill boldly asserted that she would opt to be in a relationship with a wealthy but unfaithful man over a faithful but financially challenged partner. According to her, the presence of wealth outweighs the importance of fidelity in a relationship.

“In my view, money is paramount in a relationship,” Godswill declared.

She goes on to add;

“I prefer dating a rich man who cheats on me to a faithful broke man”, she said.

“You know the worst thing? When a broke man now cheats on you it’s like double suffering. So, I would rather stick to a rich guy who would apologize and keep it moving. But when the disrespect gets too much I hate disrespect, especially when it’s on a public platform. I’m very big on respect. So if you disrespect me, I’m going to walk away.”

She elaborated on her stance, suggesting that the financial security provided by a wealthy partner trumps the pain of infidelity. “Men are all the same,” she remarked.

“Men are the same. You see that money? You can never take money out of the relationship. I’m not saying it’s okay to cheat. Please, don’t cheat on me.”

“Money is an indispensable aspect of any relationship. While I don’t condone cheating, I can tolerate it as long as there’s mutual respect.”

Godswill emphasized the added anguish of being cheated on by a financially disadvantaged partner, dubbing it “double suffering.” She reasoned that a wealthy partner’s ability to apologize and move on from infidelity makes it a more bearable offense.

However, the reality star was quick to draw the line at disrespect, particularly if it occurs publicly. “I’m very particular about respect. If you disrespect me, I will not hesitate to walk away,” she asserted.
