I wouldn’t want to meet him again—Harry Kane
Harry Kane has been in the Striker business for quite some time now, and in those times, the Tottenham Hotspur and England man has met a wide range of defenders.
Although he was able to find a way out most times and keep his legs and acts together but if he were to identify the defenders that he had the most problems with, Harry Kane picked 2.
While chatting with fans on an Instagram Q & A on Thursday night, the Tottenham Hotspur man revealed the defenders he would want to cross paths with again are Chelsea legend, John Terry and Juventus legend, Giorgio Chiellini.
Thankfully, one is retired in John Terry, and the other one is far out in America plying his trade.
Harry Kane revealed to fans that John Terry and Giorgio Chiellini were the two toughest he has ever faced in his career so far.
The England captain started the Instagram Q&A to mark a celebration of his ten years in the Premier League, since he made his official debut.
“There are a few who have been the toughest I have faced in my career.” He said.
“Early on facing John Terry, [he was] just a really smart defender, knew where to put his body, knew how to stop my runs, so that was a great learning curve,” Kane said in a video on his Instagram story.
“And then Chiellini. I obviously played against him against Italy and against Juventus. Again, really smart, strong and physical.”
