Best time to Beat Chelsea as Tottenham tipped to win Clash

Tottenham Hotspur have been given the permission to beat Chelsea by pundits ahead of their clash into the second week of the Premier League.

The second week of the Premier League season is upon us and the big clash of the weekend is the London derby between Tottenham Hotspurs and Chelsea.

The fixture is undeniably the juiciest game of this weekend going by the league’s calendar as it sets against two tactical geniuses in London in Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel in a face off for 3 points.

Spurs take a trip through the English capital to face off Chelsea on Sunday, and serves as the litmus test to see whether the North London side has what it takes to challenge for the league title.

And going by popular punditry opinions, Conte side are favored to come out with all 3 points in the challenge, as Tottenham are considered to be one of the best teams in the league this season outside Liverpool and Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur started the campaign with a 4-1 mauling of Southampton whereas Chelsea began the campaign with a struggled defeat of Everton on the opening weekend.

This according to former Spurs player, Jamie O’Hara makes the Lilywhites favorites to beat Chelsea on Sunday.

To him, he sees Spurs destroying Chelsea and leaving nothing to come out alive at Stamford Bridge.

He told talkSPORT:

“I think it’s a good time to play Chelsea. You’re still a little bit on the hangover of last season. I think we’re going to go there and absolutely destroy them.”

Contrary to Jamie O’Hara’s statements, Tottenham Hotspur has history standing against them regarding beating Chelsea though, as last season the suffered the most defeat against Chelsea while having 2 different managers.

The game is one of the games Chelsea fans love to see their team playing as they rarely come out with a defeat let alone at home in Stamford Bridge.

I have lofty aspirations for Chelsea—Raheem Sterling
