The Nigerian singer, Teni has recently stirred up emotions from her fans and fellow Nigerians after she disclosed a medical illness she had been battling for months.
The publicly acclaimed Sugar Mummy of Lagos, revealed that in the month of July, she was diagnosed with a life-threatening throat infection while recording her second album titled Tears Of The Sun.
Teni stated that after experiencing several instances of temporary vocal loss, physicians recommended her to undergo major surgery or risk permanent voice loss.
Teni recovers from Throat illness
She was hospitalized in September, however, after experiencing recurring episodes of tiredness.
In the video she shared on social media, Teni expressed appreciation to God for his kindness, revealing she was finally back on her feet. The singer promised fans that her album would be released on the 17th of this month.
