"I love it" -- Arteta reacts to Zinchenko and White 'fighting'

Arsenal made hard work of their premier league clash versus Nottingham Forest away at the City Ground on Tuesday and for manager, Mikel Arteta, he couldn’t be any more happier seeing his players in a heated exchange as a result of it.

The hard-fought 2-1 triumph over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night saw Arsenal stars, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ben White in a confrontation with each other after full time.

The contentious confrontation even got intense that the two players had to be physically separated.

The Gunners secured their victory with second-half goals from Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka, establishing a lead that Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi was only able to partially erase with a late goal in the 89th minute.

Arsenal’s win propelled them to second place in the Premier League standings, marking a significant ascent in their campaign.

Speaking on the altercation between his players, Mikel Arteta said;

“I love it. They are demanding more from each other. They are not happy with the way they conceded, and they are just trying to resolve it.”

Acknowledging the heated nature of the exchange, Arteta added,

“It got a bit heated. But that means that it’s enough. Playing the way we played, the result has to be bigger, and the clean sheet has to be there.”
