"I know what Ten Hag is trying to do" -- Mikel Arteta

Manchester United versus Arsenal is only hours away and Mikel Arteta over the last few days has been doing a lot of talking ahead of the Sunday kickoff.

With a first premier league title in 20-years at stake for the Gunners, a lot hinges on Arsenal and Arteta’s side to chalk out a positive result at an infamous ground known for being a nightmare for the North London side.

The Gunners currently sit 2-points behind Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the title race, and with 2-games left for both sides to play, Manchester United stand the one team that could derail whatever dream Mikel Arteta has troubling his ‘brain’.

On the Super Sunday stunner, the Arsenal boss spoke about the Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag to a minimal extent. The Spaniard praised the Dutchman’s efforts in his managerial stint at both Ajax and Manchester United despite the many criticisms facing Ten Hag this season.

“I can only talk about what I think about him as a coach. He’s an excellent coach, I admire his teams, Ajax and United.” Arteta said of the Man United boss.

However, on what Erik ten Hag stands to achieve with Manchester United in general, Arteta’s words become a lot more interesting;

The Arsenal boss in his quote says;

“I know what he’s trying to do, I know how he does it, I know how difficult it is to prepare against him, so I have huge respect for him. Hopefully he gets the time because we are colleagues and we know how difficult it is in this league and how small the margins are.”
