“I intentionally didn’t pick his calls” – Tosin expresses regret after losing father

Nigerian blogger, Tosin “Silverdam” Damolekun, has expressed guilt over intentionally missing the calls of his late father when he was alive.

After a long-term health condition the media personality’s aged father died, leaving him saddened.

On his own Instagram profile, the writer released a video of his father’s coffin being progressively lowered into the ground while a preacher prayed over it.

In another clip, he included a video of some men carrying the casket to the trench they had dug for it.

Tosin Silverdam revealed the details behind his father’s death. He claimed that his father died as a result of an ulcer.

In a subsequent essay, the blogger revealed that he sobbed when he had to put sand on his father’s casket since it hit him that he would never return.

Tosin claimed to have spoken with his father just two days before his death and even planned to visit them to offer them groceries and a deep freezer he had purchased for his mother.

The socialite said that he had even purchased medicine for his father the day before his death and was purposely avoiding his father’s calls since he knew he wanted to express his thanks.

He wrote, “That feeling when they are burying your father and you have to pour sand on his grave. I Cried, Like I Cried. That was when it dawned on me.”
