"I couldn’t give a shit to be honest" -- Klopp ahead of Chelsea clash

‘I didn’t invent fist-pumps and I couldn’t give a shit to be honest’, Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp on Mikel Arteta’s antics.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed criticism surrounding Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta‘s celebrations following their recent victory, ahead of his team’s highly anticipated clash with Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final this Sunday.

In a press conference leading up to the final showdown at Wembley Stadium, Klopp addressed the chatter surrounding Arteta’s animated reactions to Arsenal’s win against Liverpool, stating, “I heard the discussions – that Mikel over-celebrated the win against us. That definitely did not come from me.”

The German manager further shrugged off any notions of proprietary rights over celebratory gestures, quipping,

“Everybody can do whatever. I didn’t invent fist-pumps and I don’t have the copyright on it and I don’t want it. What the outside world thinks about it – I couldn’t give a shit to be honest. And you can write that exactly like that.”

Despite the focus on external noise, Klopp reiterated his primary focus on the upcoming Carabao Cup final, emphasizing the significance of the match for the team, the club, and the supporters.

“I want to win on Sunday but not for me or my trophy cabinet. It is for the boys, for the club, for the people. That is much more important and everything will go on. What we are doing at the moment is writing a wonderful book, I would say,” Klopp expressed.

With tensions high and anticipation mounting, Liverpool and Chelsea are set to go head-to-head in another final that promises to be a thrilling encounter for football fans across the globe.
