“I am being threatened” — Peter Obi flags alarm
Peter Obi, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the 2023 elections, has revealed facing threats from undisclosed sources urging him to turn a blind eye to the ongoing political landscape in Nigeria.
The former Governor of Anambra State, however, remains resolute in his stance, asserting that such intimidation fails to deter his commitment to the political sphere.
During a Twitter space interaction, Parallel Facts, on Sunday, Obi addressed the alleged threats directed at him, affirming his unwavering determination despite the challenges.
“I know the pains of being OUT when I can be IN. And people, telling me to look away or else they’d destroy me. But I am not fazed by all of those,” remarked the LP flagbearer.
Maintaining his steadfastness, Obi asserted, “When they take Peter Obi away, other people will take over from where I stopped,” indicating his belief in the continuity of his efforts regardless of potential obstacles.
