How Witches Attack Me In My Dreams — 'Witch Actress', Iya Gbonkan Cries Out

The Yoruba actress, Iya Gbonkan as she is popularly called, is known for her spiritual roles in movies, where she is often deputed as a traditionalist or a witch.

She, however, lamented during an interview over the constant threats by witches in her sleep.

According to her, because she mostly acts the role of a witch in movies, real-life witches are now attacking her in her dreams.

Translating her Yoruba wordings to English, she said:

Witches visit me every day once it’s midnight but I conquered because I am very bold. Whatever will scare me, I’ll see it. What will make me run, I’ll see it but God gave me victory.

There was a Job they (directors) gave me, huge and I have never done it before but God helped me. The day the witches beat me back and blue, my whole face was swollen, thank God my late husband was still alive.

They asked me to come and join them, but I was adamant, witches are not in my lineage. I’m a mother and I cannot be feeding on people’s blood…”

This isn’t the first time the veteran actress is lamenting over a witch attack as she had revealed sometime ago how a witch had tried to initiate her into their coven.
