How police arrested 287 suspected rapists in Katsina
TopNaija reports that the Police Command in Katsina State says it has arrested no fewer than 287 suspected rapists in 2020.
Police Spokesman Gambo Isah made this known to newsmen in Katsina on Thursday, NAN reports.
Isah said that 236 rape cases were reported to the police across the state during the period under review.
He said that most of the victims were between three years of age and 14 years of age.
The police spokesman stressed that cultism, drug abuse and viewing phonographic pictures and videos by rapists were some of the factors that influence rape.
He urged parents to stop neglecting their wards and ensure they receive proper upbringing.
