Herbalist allegedly hangs self in Benue State

A herbalist has been reportedly committed suicide in the Area of Benue State.

TopNaija reports that a herbalist identified as Terhemen lorbee has reportedly hanged himself in Ushongo Local Government Area of Benue State.

TopNaija also report that the incident happened in the early hours on Saturday, March 5th after his colleague found his dead body suspended from a rope tied around his neck.

According to sources, the deceased who had three wives was declared missing on Friday morning and was later found to have committed suicide by hanging.

The father of the deceased, Iorbee Ndyar, and his eldest son, Fater Terhemen during separate chats with journalists, revealed that the colleague of the now deceased, identified as Orduen Kerchen, brought him home around the late hours of 10 Pm.

When contacted, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Catherine Anene, said she was yet to receive the report of the incident.

I’m also seeing the [suicide] pictures on social media, but I’ve not received the official report. I’m waiting for the Division to bring the report,” Anene said.
