Gunmen kidnap 12 people in Kaduna town on New Year’s eve

At least twelve persons, including 10 women have been abducted by bandits who attacked Kerawa village in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the wee hours of Friday, December 30, 2021, Top Naija reports.

 

Daily Trust reported that a youth leader in the community, Jamil Kerawa who confirmed the attack said the bandits operated unchallenged.

 

According to him;

“They abducted 12 people two male and 10 women after killing one person. One other was injured and rushed to hospital in Zaria. We need help in Kerawa because only God is protecting us.”

 

Karewa called on the State Government to deploy security personnel in the area, as he lamented the increase in attacks.
