Former Chelsea boss could replace Ten Hag as talks hold

Manchester United potential co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is believed to have held talks with former Chelsea coach, Graham Potter about potentially taking over from current manager, Erik ten Hag.

In a potential shift in Manchester United’s football operations, British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is rumored to be considering a significant stake worth £1.3 billion in the club.

Reports suggest Ratcliffe, set to oversee football operations at United with a 25 per cent stake, has met with former Chelsea boss Graham Potter regarding the possibility of replacing current manager Erik ten Hag.

Despite no immediate plans for Ten Hag’s dismissal, Ratcliffe might be compelled to reassess the situation if United’s dismal performance persists.

The Red Devils recently faced a setback by exiting the Champions League after finishing at the bottom of their group. Their struggle extends to their domestic campaign, currently placing sixth in the standings, intensifying pressure ahead of a crucial fixture against Liverpool this weekend.

Judging from Chelsea previous campaign under the former Brighton manager, the idea of Graham Potter replacing Erik ten Hag may not sit down well with the United fandom, however, it is all speculations at this stage.
