Former US President Donald Trump Lands New york To Face Criminal Charges

Former US President Donald Trump landed at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Monday to surrender himself to face criminal charges related to a 2016 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Trump is due to be arraigned in Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday after a grand jury indicted him last week.

Trump left his residence in Palm Beach, Florida, on Monday afternoon in a motorcade of SUVs, accompanied by his son Eric and Secret Service protection. Some of his supporters gathered outside the Mar-a-Lago club, waiting for his departure. Trump-themed flags and signs were also displayed along the route to Palm Beach International Airport.

Trump’s private Boeing 757 plane, with the word “Trump” in large letters on its side, departed from the airport and landed at LaGuardia before 3:30 p.m. ET. Just before the plane took off, Trump posted on Truth Social, calling the indictment a “WITCH HUNT.”

In another Truth Social post late Sunday night, Trump wrote that he would be going to the courthouse on Tuesday morning, saying “America was not supposed to be this way!”
