FATE Foundation Hosts 3rd Alumni Conference

The FATE Foundation, Nigeria’s leading not-for-profit organisation promoting entrepreneurial development, hosted its third annual alumni conference on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in Muson Centre Lagos.

The conference, themed “Building for Scale,” was designed as a platform for FATE alumni and other Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise entrepreneurs to learn from entrepreneurial leaders and influencers. They also shared knowledge about key topical areas to grow and thrive as entrepreneurs, while also allowing them to network and connect.

The conference was opened by the President/Chief Executive Officer, of Coscharis Group, Mr Cosmas Maduka, who gave the first keynote speech. He spoke about the importance of building strong foundations for businesses to succeed. He also shared his own experiences as an entrepreneur and how he has been able to build a successful business.

The second keynote speech was given by the Founder/Chief Executive Officer, Terra Kulture, Mrs Bolanle Austen-Peters. She spoke about the importance of culture and how it can be used to promote entrepreneurship. She also shared her own experiences as an entrepreneur and how she has been able to use culture to build a successful business.

The conference also had Syndicate Speakers with Facebook-certified Digital Marketing Consultants Padebi Ojomo, Ayodeji Agboola, Oyetunji Olusegun and Yemisi Alabi. These experts shared practical strategies SME’s can leverage to grow their business using digital tools and digital platforms.

The conference was attended by over 700 entrepreneurs from across Nigeria. The attendees were able to learn from the keynote speakers and panellists, as well as from each other. The conference was a success and it is hoped that it will continue to be held in future years.

FATE Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2000. The organization’s mission is to promote entrepreneurial development in Nigeria. FATE Foundation provides training, mentorship, and financial support to entrepreneurs. The organization also works to create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs.

FATE Foundation has been successful in its mission. The organization has trained over 10,000 entrepreneurs and has helped to create over 5,000 jobs. FATE Foundation is a valuable asset to the Nigerian economy and it is hoped that the organization will continue to grow and succeed in the future.
