In a shocking turn of events, the Most Superior Evangelist Olagbaju Moris Gbade Fadehan, the Shepherd In-Charge of CCC Grace of Comfort Parish, Obaloran Quarters, in Ile-Ife, Osun State was tragically killed on Monday evening, February 26, within the church premises.

The suspect behind this heinous act has been identified as Evangelist Olalekan Ogundipe, who was serving as an assistant to Fadehan.

According to initial reports, a conflict arose between Fadehan and the suspect, which unfortunately escalated into a physical altercation after the conclusion of their service on Monday evening.

Regrettably, the situation took a devastating turn when the suspect allegedly stabbed Fadehan, resulting in his immediate demise. Shockingly, the suspect then proceeded to set the deceased ablaze while he was still wearing his sutana.

Swift action was taken, and the suspect was promptly apprehended and handed over to the police. The law enforcement authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into this distressing incident to uncover the truth and bring justice to the victim and his grieving family.

The spokesperson of the command has assured the public that every effort will be made to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. The community is urged to remain calm and patient as the investigation progresses.
