Emmanuel Dennis is Wanted
Super Eagles player and current Watford striker, Emmanuel Dennis initially came into the Premier League as very much the unknown prospect but after putting up quite an impressive performance at the Hornets, his stakes have quite improved.
According to reports now, the Nigeria international is being touted by variety of Premier League clubs looking to sign the striker, with popular names being West Ham United, Everton and Nottingham Forest.
This comes after Emmanuel Dennis’ agent Drew Uwi had held talks with the clubs as they eye a trade with Watford for the forward, as per The Express.
The three Premier League clubs have held discussions over a possible transfer for the 24-year-old this summer.
The links with so many Premier League clubs came following Watford’s relegation from the top flight last season as the Emmanuel Dennis looks to move on for better coverage.
However, the Nigerian may face quite the problem as the Hornets have set an asking price for the Super Eagles’ star at £20million.
Dennis scored 10 goals and registered six assists in 33 Premier League appearances last season, which weren’t enough as the English club fell into the Championship after sitting at 19th on the table till final match day.
The club ended with the point tally of 23 points after 38 Premier League games.
Emmanuel Dennis choosing to go to Everton will see him reunite with Super Eagles teammate, Alex Iwobi at club level and under the tutelage of former Chelsea coach, Frank Lampard.
And at Nottingham Forest, he has the opportunity to reunite with another Super Eagles teammate, Taiwo Awoniyi, but a move to West Ham may seem him contend for Europe under the guidance of David Moyes whose team did quite well last season.
