Ekaba Bags WSO SafeER Ambassador And ACI African Ambassador Awards For 2022

Nigerian Engineer, Environmentalist and Safety Specialist Dr. Ufuoma Abundance Ekaba fondly called Dr UAE has bagged the WSO SafeER Ambassador 2022 award.

The environmental management expert was decorated with the award by the by the World Safety Organization (WSO) at the just concluded SafeER Conference that held in Benin City on 26-28 September 2022.

It has been one recognition after another for Engr. Dr. Ekaba. In August 2022, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Calabar, he bagged the African Environmental Ambassador Award at the ACI conference.

On 29th April 2022, he was awarded a Doctorate degree Honoris Causa in Peace Management by the United Nations Polac.

He also won the African Environmental Cleanup sustainability award at the ACI conference in Lagos last year.

Dr Ufuoma Ekaba has been a practicing Engineer in the oil & gas industry for the past two and half decades and counting.

Engr. Dr. Ekaba holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. He also holds a masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, Benin City and recently completed his PhD program in Environmental Management at the Rivers State University Port Harcourt.

He is married with three children. We congratulate Engineer Dr Ufuoma Ekaba and wish him more accomplishments in the years to come.
