Dunamis Pastor dies in Church Collapse

In a heart-wrenching incident on Tuesday morning, a pastor from Dunamis Church lost his life in a devastating building collapse that occurred in Mission Ward North Bank, Makurdi, the capital of Benue State.

The incident, which took place in the early hours, has left the community in shock and mourning.

According to reports obtained by Naija News, the ill-fated church building collapsed, with four individuals, including the pastor, inside engaged in prayers at the time of the tragedy.

Tragically, while the other three individuals managed to escape the wreckage, the pastor was not as fortunate and lost his life in the collapse.

The collapse of the church structure also resulted in damage to nearby residential buildings and the electricity infrastructure in the vicinity.

At this point, the exact cause of the incident remains unclear and is under investigation, as reported by Naija News.

Upon reaching out to the Police Public Relations Officer for the Benue State Police Command, Anene Sewuese Catherine, it was reported that she was not aware of the incident.

However, reports have indicated that police personnel from the C Division, North Bank, swiftly responded to the scene, and emergency response teams are en route to the location of the collapsed building.
