Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw stepped in to the designer saga with Living In Bondage Director, Ramsey Nouah after a lady accused himof using her designs without pay.

A young female graphic designer had called out Ramsey Noah for allegedly using her logo for his movie “Living in Bondage” which he made his directorial debut in, without paying for it.

Kate Henshaw responded. She wrote;

She tagged the wrong handle. Having said that, let her tag the right person again and we take it from there. Will reach out to him.

Kate Henshaw also served an update on her discussion with Ramsey Noah. She revealed that the media director who hired the graphic designer for the job, was passing off her designs as his.

She tweeted;

Good morning Louisa. Trust you are well. I was tagged on your thread this morning. I can say I know @Ramseynouah_ to a certain extent. He is not that type of person. Ur connect was passing off your job as his own. I have spoken to Ramsey and I hear someone has reached out to you.

The graphic designer also served an update after her post went viral on social media.

In her new tweets, @louisajlo noted that she never had direct contact to Ramsey Noah or the movie crew, which was why she used social media to address the issue. She further disclosed that she has been contacted and compensated accordingly.

She also thanked Kate Henshaw who reached out to Ramsey Noah and made sure her case was heard.

The graphic designer tweeted;

UPDATE Twitter, I made that thread not to indict anybody but to sensitize about the issue and I am grateful that everyone was supportive to me. I didn’t have a direct contact to Ramsey or the crew that is why I used social media. You can see I even tagged the wrong handle.

My noise together with your Retweets got them to know and they have contacted me. They didn’t know but now they do and have acted accordingly. I have been compensated. I am still proud to have worked on the movie and hope for future possibilities.

Thank you so much to everyone who have helped me with this. Thank you @HenshawKate I really don’t know everyone’s handles but I am utterly grateful.

I love to read, write and TRAVEL!!! The media space is my canvas to paint the truths of our brands and the stories of our Nigerian culture. I love a good book any day because with them I can travel to spaces that are perfect in their frame.
