Dembele’s Barcelona contract nears end, Xavi hopes for renewal

The Frenchman’s deal at Camp Nou ends on June 30 as his manager reportedly insists on keeping him.

The debate on whether Ousmane Dembele will sign a new contract is still vague.

As of today Wednesday, June 22, the Barca border is yet to agree on a deal with the Dembele.

This means that the player is more likely to become a free agent and Barca may risk losing out on a transfer deal.

Meanwhile, Barcelona head coach, Xavi Hernandez still sees Dembele as a key player for the coming campaign.

He is reportedly making a final ‘plea’ to the player and the board to make him sign a renewal deal.
