Davido takes baby mama, Sophia Momodu to court over custody of daughter, Imade

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, best known as Davido, has sued his baby mama, Sophia Momodu plus joint custody of their daughter, Imade.

TopNaija gathered that Davido’s lawyers, Okey Barrah, Olaniyi Arije, and many others filed the suit at the Lagos State High Court, dated April 17, 2024, praying for an “order granting him unfettered and unrestricted access” to his child, Imade.

In the suit marked LD/1587PMC/2024, the singer said he has consistently fulfilled his financial responsibilities towards their child’s well-being and took upon himself, the costs of Imade’s education.

According to the 30BG boss, he has also been paying all Imade’s school fees, and also covers the rent for the apartment where she and Sophia Momodu reside.

He claimed that despite his efforts, Sophia has been making unreasonable demands, seemingly designed to harass and frustrate him.
