Davido dragged over old tweet he made on how Actresses make their money

Legendary singer, Davido has been dragged for an old tweet in which he alleged how Nollywood actresses make their money.

TopNaija recalls that sometime in 2011, Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke AKA Davido made a post on Twitter about how Nollywood actresses made their money apart from their careers.

Off recent, the tweet resurfaced online, which brought a series of reactions.

In the tweet, the father of four opined that most Nollywood actresses use the platform movie industry to advertise their ‘goodies’ to wealthy men.

According to the music star, those females in such category make more money from sleeping with men than from featuring in movies.

In his words…

”Nollywood is just a way 4 these actresses 2 advertise their goodies 2 rich men… dey makes more moni banging than acting. Fact.”

Many netizens frowned at the statement, calling the singer out for being so insensitive to actresses.

And of course, others stood in for the singer, as they insisted that the singer’s words are not far from the truth.
