“Cooking is not my husband’s love language” — Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu
Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu, the founder of Woodhall Capital, recently revealed a surprising aspect of her personal life during an episode of ‘The Diary Of A Naija Girl’ podcast. Despite being married for two decades and having children, she disclosed that she has never cooked in her household.
During the podcast, Hunponu-Wusu explained that her busy schedule has prevented her from engaging in domestic chores such as cooking. She emphasized that while she may not cook, she ensures to prioritize other aspects of her family life.
In her own words,
“I’ve been married for 20 years but I’ve never cooked in my home. I don’t get to cook. I love to have more time, not only for cooking, but for other things across the family but I don’t just get the time and I’ve to be true to my purpose and myself.”
Hunponu-Wusu also expressed that her husband appears unfazed by her lack of culinary involvement, suggesting that cooking may not hold significance as his “love language.” She emphasized that she fulfills other roles and responsibilities that contribute positively to their family dynamic.
“And somehow, I hope I’m not speaking for him, maybe cooking is not my husband’s love language. Maybe he has other things I’m doing. We’ve three kids.”
