Comedienne Helen Paul weeps as she becomes HOD in an American University [VIDEO]

Nigerian TV show host and comedienne, Helen Paul has just been appointed the Head of Department at Heart International University in the United States of America.

This comes as a double celebration for the entertainment star as her husband also graduated as a Doctor of law. Helen Paul made the exciting announcement via her Instagram handle a few minutes ago.

In her words, “Congratulations to us my love.
Such a great honor for both of us.
You graduated as a Doctor of law and I was promoted too. Professor Helen Paul,now the new H.O.D Department of Arts, Music and Entertainment. Heart International University USA.
Thank you for all the sleepless nights.
Thank you for sacrificing for us.”

This is coming a few years after she emerged as Nigeria’s first popular stand-up comedienne to bag a Doctorate Degree. The comedienne had earlier completed her Ph.D programs in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos in 2019.

Helen Paul broke out as a naughty comic character on the radio program Wetin Dey on Radio Continental 102.3FM, Lagos.

She was known on the programme as “Tatafo”, a witty kid who addresses and lampoons societal issues in a satirical manner. She also presented programmes on TVC and Naija FM 102.7.

In 2014, she opened a film and theater academy, the Helen Paul Theater and Film Academy. It consists of a dance studio, a makeup studio, a recording studio, a rehearsal studio, a photo studio, a mainly digital library, an editing studio, and a hostel for students.

Paul is married to Femi Bamisile and has two sons.
