Chelsea suffer another injury blow ahead of Luton Town
Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that the squad has suffered another injury blow as January signing, Mykhailo Mudryk picked up an injury in training ahead of tomorrow’s premier league clash versus Luton Town.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager however insists it is a minor fitness concern, promising the Ukrainian will be back to the team soon.
“It’s a minor issue and so I think he’ll be out for a few days. He won’t be available for tomorrow.
“We’re disappointed at the situation as he only played 45 minutes against West Ham. He’s a player we have a lot of hope for but it’s not a big issue as he’ll be back involved soon.” Pochettino confirmed.
Chelsea are currently absent a win following the start of the premier league season, having drawn against Liverpool and lost to London neighbors, West Ham United last weekend.
Pochettino will look to Luton Town, desperate for a win to steady the ship and raise the team’s confidence levels after a very busy summer transfer.
