Chelsea Are Definitely Getting Hammered—Arsenal Legend brags

Back in the early 2000s, when the English Premier League was at its peak of being widely competitive, Chelsea vs. Arsenal games were tension fueled fixtures due to the local rivalry inspired as a result of them being London neighbors and regarded as the 2 teams with the most success in London.
But with the recent decline between the two at certain stages, the fixture hasn’t been able to live up to same hype as before even though there remains the animosity. It is either the red side is on form or the blue side has all the advantages, and right now, it looks like favor is on the side of the Gunners going into this game.
It is such favor that prompts Ian Wright to outline the areas the Gunners will capitalize to defeat its London rival, Chelsea in the Sunday fixture.
Ian Wright, a former member of the Arsenal team, agrees that Chelsea is incredibly disorganized going into this weekend’s Premier League matchup with Arsenal.
The former Premier League player believes that Chelsea’s close victories since Potter took over for Thomas Tuchel as manager were faked.
“The thing is with it, the way they played it was so disorganised,” Wright said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show.
“I know they’ve lost one in 10 but the way they played the other day, it’s not good form.”
He continued by saying that the west Londoners might endure more devastating losses if Graham Potter is unable to strengthen the Blues midfield and get something going there.
He claims that Potter is playing Raheem Sterling and Ruben Loftus-Cheek as wingbacks rather than his real full-backs, and Wright predicts that “it’s going to happen again [a large defeat]. I think it might be papering over flaws, the games up to this point.”
Chelsea was destroyed 4-1 by Brighton last Saturday, handing them their worst loss of the year and their first ever under Graham Potter.
