BREAKING: Nigeria’s GDP growth dropped to 2.98% in Q1 2024, says NBS

The Nigerian National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) says that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 2.98 percent in the first quarter of 2024.

For the same quarter in 2023, the growth rate was 2.31 percent, but this year’s rate is better than that. It was 3.46 percent in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023.
