BREAKING: Court grants Abba Kyari two-week bail for mother’s burial

Former Chief of the Force Intelligence Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari, has been released on bail for two weeks by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

The court said Kyari could go home for two weeks to finish the funeral arrangements for his mother.

After that, the court set Friday, May 31 as the date to decide on his bail request.

Kyari is going to court on drug-related charges brought by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The previous head of IRT was caught by the NDLEA on February 14, 2022.
