Brazil Boss Explains Martinelli Decision
Ahead of the Qatar World Cup, one country boasting a considerable number of talents is South American nation, Brazil who would be entering the tournament with a wide crop of attacking options that Arsenal’s sensation, Gabriel Martinelli inclusion into the team came as a surprise to many.
From reports, it is stated to be a late decision from the Brazil manager, Tite.
The late decision to put Gabriel Martinelli in his team for the 2022 World Cup has been revealed by Tite, the Brazil coach.
With five goals and two assists, Martinelli has been in superb form for Arsenal, who lead the Premier League after 13 games under Mikel Arteta.
Despite his excellent performances, the 21-year-old only seemed to have a remote chance of reaching Tite’s team after being passed over for the international matches in September.
However, it was confirmed on Monday that Martinelli will be traveling to Qatar.
After announcing his World Cup roster, Tite was questioned over his decision to select Martinelli.
He replied: “We like Martinelli’s aggressiveness. He’s one of the top players at Arsenal, the first placed team in the Premier League.
“He’s good in one-v-ones, he’s very rapid in transitions and he’s been playing at a consistently good level.”
