“Biafra government ready to support Israel” — Simon Ekpa
Simon Ekpa, the self-proclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile and secessionist leader, has made a bold pledge to assist Israel in the wake of heightened tensions following Iran’s recent missile and drone attacks on Israeli territory.
Taking to Twitter, Ekpa announced the readiness of the Biafra Government to provide support to Israel, offering up to 15,000 well-trained Biafra Liberation troops if necessary.
In his tweet, Ekpa also assured that the Biafra Government would swiftly offer maximum protection to @IsraelinNigeria within a timeframe of four hours upon receiving notice.
“Biafra Government, ready to help Isreal with ground forces if need be upto 15000 well trained Biafra Liberation troops. The Biafra government will also offer maximum protection to @IsraelinNigeria within 4 hours of notice”
The statement comes in response to Iran’s barrage of missiles and drones directed towards Israel on Sunday morning, April 14, escalating fears of conflict in the Middle East.
Ekpa’s declaration underscores the growing international ramifications of the tensions in the region, with secessionist movements such as the Biafra Republic Government in Exile expressing solidarity with Israel amidst the escalating crisis.
However, it is hard to tell if Simon Ekpa is all words and no actions or if his words hold any waters in Israel’s conflict with Palestine and Iran.
