Belove Olocha: The face of a new generation of Nigerian content creators

Belove Chibuenyi Olocha, better known as Belove Olocha, is an actress, digital content creator, social commentator, and media personality. She is known for her engaging commentaries on social issues and trending entertainment stories on social media.

Belove Olocha was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to Nigerian parents from the Ikwerre tribe of Rivers State.

She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Port Harcourt, where she studied Theatre and Film.

Belove began her career as a red-carpet host in Port Harcourt, hosting fashion shows, pageants, and comedy events. She even hosted the red carpet for AY Live in Port Harcourt.

She has featured in numerous stage productions and small films.

After completing her NYSC, she made a bold move to Lagos to further her career.

Upon relocating to Lagos, she started working as a journalist and later as a social media manager at Pulse Nigeria. She resigned toward the end of 2022 to become a full-time digital content creator.

Belove Olocha has built a significant following, with fans who enjoy her insightful commentary on the popular reality TV show, BBNaija.

In 2023, TikTok Nigeria invited her as a speaker at the TikTok Nollywood November event, where she discussed how content creators like herself have carved out niches and how Nollywood stakeholders can partner with influencers to cross-promote content and achieve viral success.

In 2023/2024, she partnered with Team BBNaija and TikTok Nigeria to host eviction livestreams for all the evicted Big Brother Naija housemates. This collaboration marked a turning point in her career.

Belove Olocha has also partnered and worked with renowned brands such as *MultiChoice, **TikTok, **Pepsi, **Indomie, **Inkblot, **Filmhouse Cinema, and **Pricepally*, among others.

She has appeared several times on podcasts, including Pulse Hot Takes.

In acting, she has been involved in smaller projects, but she is setting her sights on the big screen, aiming to officially make her acting debut as an Oscar-worthy performer.
