APC suspends campaign
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has suspended its campaign activities temporarily for the upcoming elections due to the current economic challenges in the country.
According to the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Seye Oladejo, the decision was taken after the Lagos APC Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, received numerous complaints from members and the public.
Hon. Ojelabi expressed empathy for the struggling citizens and viewed it as insensitive to continue with rallies in light of the current situation.

He also joined the call for a review of the Naira redesign policy to alleviate the suffering of the people and make petroleum products readily available.
The Lagos APC Chairman called on citizens to remain law-abiding while efforts are made to resolve the current challenges.
He emphasized that the suspension of campaigns was in the best interest of the nation and the preparation for the elections.
