Another Nigerian chef breaks Irish chef, Alan Fisher’s 119-hour and 57-minute GWR cooking record

Nigerian chef, Temitope Adebayo, best known as Tope Maggie, has allegedly surpassed the current Guinness World record holder of Cook-A-Thon, Irish chef Alan Fisher.

Tope’s remarkable feat marks a significant win for Nigeria as he reclaims the title for the longest continuous cooking from Alan Fisher, who had recently dethroned chef Hilda Baci after her 93-hour record.

Tope majored in Hotel Management at the Federal Polytechnic in Ede, Osun State, and got the nickname ‘Maggie’ from his mother, who taught him how to cook.

He currently runs a restaurant business in Ogbomoso.
