Air Peace raises alarm as fraudsters clone website, scam customers

Air Peace has issued a warning regarding a recent incident involving fraudulent activity on its website.

According to the airline, some passengers who tried to book UK flights on their website fell victim to scammers who had cloned their official website.

A few days after the airline launched its revolutionary direct flight from Nigeria to the United Kingdom, an alert was issued.

Coming in the form of a statement on X (formerly Twitter), the airline revealed that the website creators had utilised its website identity collaterals to construct a fraudulent site, masquerading as the airline’s legitimate booking platform.

It reads: “Our attention has been drawn to the existence of a website “” purporting to be an official website and defrauding unsuspecting individuals.

“We would like to dissociate the Air Peace brand from this fraudulent site because it is not owned by us. The one and only website of the Air Peace remains “

“Members of the public should totally ignore the site, as it is impersonating Air Peace and fleecing passengers.”

The airline on the 30th of March, 2024, commenced daily flights to Gatwick, London.
