Actor, Tom Hanks tells fans to “back off” (video)

Hollywood star, Tom Hanks was caught in a video telling fans to “back off” after fans caused his wife Rita Wilson to trip.

The incident reportedly happened as the couple were leaving a New York restaurant on Wednesday night, June 15.

They were approached by several fans, who were asking for selfies.

In the video, a security guard was clearing the way for Hanks and Wilson to walk through the crowd.

Some members of the waiting crowd are seen attempting to take selfies with the pair as one got too close and knocked Rita, causing her to lose her balance.

She turned and told the fan to “stop it”. Hanks then put his hands in the air, and shouted, ” That is my wife, back the f**k off. Knocking over my wife.”

Currently, the actor is reportedly promoting his latest film Elvis, where he plays Presley’s manager Colonel Tom Parker.
