“If this means anything to United fans then they really have reached rock bottom.” He said of Erik ten Hag’s first game as Red Devils’ manager.

“I think if it means anything to United fans then they really have reached rock bottom.” Piers Morgan said on the Drive.

“None of these games mean anything other than keeping players in the right level of fitness heading into August.

“Liverpool are light years ahead of United and it must eat away at their soul, in the same way, watching Tottenham move ahead of Arsenal eats away at my soul.”

Judging from the journalist’s brutal opinion, it is very much easy to see where the media personality is coming from drawing from his own personal sentiments with Arsenal Football Club and its rivalry with Tottenham Hotspur.

For now, he is soaking in a new low for Manchester United.
